Frontend Features

AF Pro's unencoded frontend allows you to showcase your approved authors and articles, and permits additional author signups and article submission to keep your site growing!

  • Basic author signup system. Email from your site is sent to the new signup's email address for confirmation before approval.
  • Article Submit system that allows admin to check out and approve or decline any submitted articles.
  • AF Standard doesn't have SEO urls, but an optional SEF Urls kit is available for purchase. Simply upload the kit pages and your site will have SEF Urls.
  • Upload Author Picture. Your author's can upload their picture and have it show in thier articles. This personalizes your articles and makes your author's feel like a part of your site.
  • Star Rating System on all articles. Let your visitors know which articles are hot! Each article starts up rated as five empty stars and adds stars as the article is reviewed, read or downloaded. When they gain a new star is controlled by you.

Requirements

  • Php Version 4 or greater.
  • Ioncube enabled for admin files. Most hosts have this enabled by default.
  • Mod_rewrite for SEF URLS kit. Most hosts have this enabled by default.
  • FTP Client (to upload files and edit them).
  • webpage or Text editor to edit files (Yes, even notepad will work!).
